ORTONA Christmas 1943
Today is 27th Dicember 2018.
On December 27, 1943, 75 years ago, a fierce battle was fought on the streets of Ortona, house by house. that was won by the Allies … just the day after on December 28, 1943, leaving on the field serious losses (among the Germans about 870, among the civilians around 1300 and among the Canadians about 2,340).
The battle ended just the day after 4 Canadians sacrificed their lives in Ortona, fighting for our salvation and freedom.
… but the incredible story we are telling you shows that these 4 boys did not die in vain … and they are still among us. Their heroic story is more than a historical tale or pure heroism

Their bodies have remained in Ortona and rest in the “MORO RIVER” Canadian Cemetery in Ortona and it is there that we met Linda, in front of their graves, who told us about the unimaginable truth that makes them immortal.
