Guida ai vini d’Italia 2015 – L’Espresso

For the first time a white wine the Trebbiano d’Abruzzo is top rating with the Barolo.  The wine is the  Trebbiano d’Abruzzo 2010 Valentini (Loreto Aprutino) who has achieved the maximum score of 20/20.

The other excellences are:

white wines:  Pecorino Bianchi grilli per la testa 2011 (18 points) and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo 2012 Emidio Pepe (18 points).

red wines: Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2012 Prologo De Fermo (18 points) and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva 2009 Praesidium (18 points).

And if you care especially about the ratio quality/price for you there is the Pecorino Giulia 2013 Cataldi Madonna.
